Twitter The Movie

Rumours have surfaced today on several news sites that popular social media site Twitter may have a movie deal by the end of the year.
It is unclear at this time what the premise of the movie may be. Among some of the ideas are tweetheros; superheros who search for crime in real time. Other premises considered include “The twittershank redemption”, the story of a hopeful tweeter. And “It’s a tweetiful life”. It is at this time understood that no line in the script will exceed 140 characters. When the characters of the movie speak they will use only @replies to be respond to other characters.
No director has been attached to the movie so far but is understood that @spielberg and @scorsese have an interest. Spielberg commented on the idea: ‘Its an amazing concept for a movie, I’d love to be a part of it’
Reactions from tweeters across the twittersphere are predominantly positive. Some tweeters recommend that the credits should only contain @(usernames) instead of the conventional credit system.
If made, this would be the first time a website has been turned into a movie. Something most people were assuming youtube would achieve. Movie critics and gurus are claiming the film will be the only film where viewers are expected to be on their iphones telling their followers what’s happening as it happens.
Twitter staff and co-founders have refused to comment on the rumors. However, some insider source has claimed that they determined not to have the movie suddenly stop working and a load of random whales appear saying “something is technically wrong”
Meanwhile, Some actors have been linked to the film but refuse to comment. Sources have revealed that Al pacino is considered to play Biz Stone. However, critics are convinced popular twitter user and actor Ashton Kutcher will play Biz Stone.
