Demi Moore prevents suicide through twitter

Actress Demi Moore used the power of her tweets to prevent suicide yesterday. Moore (400k+ Followers) received a DM that read: “Getting a knife, a big one that is sharp. Going to cut my arm down the whole arm so it doesn’t waste time”

Moore replied “hope you are joking”

It was soon apparent that there was no late April fool’s day joke at play when the suicidal woman replied: “Gbye…gonna kill myself now”

After numerous calls from twitter users, San Jose police department sent officers to the 48 year old woman’s home.

Fellow tweeter and husband Ashton Kutcher commented on the affair through a tweet, it read: “Wifey reported a suicide attempt based on a…tweet she got and saved someones life. The woman is in the hospital now” Moore also thanked her Followers with a Thank you tweet: “Thanks everyone for reaching out to the San Jose PD i am told they are aware and no need to call anymore. I do not know this woman….” Follow Her @mrskutcher
